Nuts, Cheese, Milk, Veggies......is this a good bb diet?
« on: October 27, 2008, 03:16:49 AM »
I was thinking instead of having a set number of meals per day, I could GRAZE on nuts throughout the day, and then substitute water for milk, and eat cheese and vegetables 3 or four times per day.
The majority of calories would be coming from the nuts, i would aim for 300 grams nuts per day, around 1900 calories, then the rest from cheese, milk and veggies.

Would this work for bulking?
Kind of a high fat reasonably high protein moderate carb approach.

 ???

I don't understand why you would want to do this ???

Following a typical bulking diet would be WAY more sustainable. I guarantee you wouldn't last more than 2 days doing that diet. Thats a shit load of nuts and dairy.
No doubt about it...

I dont really like cooking as i am really busy at the mo,

Basically I just wondered what effect constant grazing would have, rather than a proper meal schedule

Try it if you want, but as i said, it isn't sustainable and you would get very sick of nuts very soon.

A lot of us are busy, just gotta find the time to have decent meals...

I read something about high fat diets bin great for natural bb's becuase they increase ur test and GH while keepin insulin low,

also i eat all my veggies raw (prefer the taste) so i guess it would be a raw food diet with added dairy.
I love redskin peanuts, i can easily eat 3-400 grams per day.

lol, but for how long?

the fatty acids in this diet aren't ideal as well, eating only nuts and dairy has way too much saturated and monounsaturated fatty acids and nearly no omega3 fatty acids.

ummmmm ... welll.... there a diet kind a similar to that called the anabolic diet. look it up, its by mario dipasquale.  its pretty good. but dude your version of it has zero meat. regardless of the type of diet you are doing or the current goal (cutting or gainin) a bodybuilding ddiet always has plenty of meat.
