I watched the first 5-6min of the first video and couldn't stand it anymore.
Greg has that "no bull" attitude, but not in the sense of the MD crew that employs him. It's just him and his attitude. But that's not what put me off.
Out of the first few words that come out of his mouth is...."I know more about training than 99% of Pro Bodybuilders." Then the next 5min I watched say nothing to back up that claim. Why does he know more? Because he talks about the Weider Instinctive Principle. "You have to know your body" he claims. Yet for every time I've heard or seen someone say that, the same person talking it is the same person that edifies the same theories Greg is talking about here. And that is also the same guy squatting 6 plates/side and maybe doing 1/4 squats at best. But he knows his body!
Every body is different TO A DEGREE. But there is a common thread throughout all of us that allow us to grow using principles that WILL work. They aren't found in FLEX or MD. They can be learned in the gym, but nobody ever takes a step back to learn or observe why what they are/aren't doing works. Then they flounder (for years I've seen) and pick up a magazine or something they feel will help them, but the mags don't really do much but perpetuate tripe that doesn't work but for a small amount of time.
I've come to like Greg more recently, than I did in the past. I've gotten to know and realize that he's a character and a lot of the stuff he did when first "published" in the late 90's or early 2000's, he did for publicity and to keep attention on him.

Alot of pro's that you probably do respect, use synthol. Just because they don't look as ridiculous as Gregg doesn't mean they don't. Sorry to tell you. There's also ways to use it correctly just to the job and stretch the fascia, and then there's blatant abuse.

Good video btw. I think it's good to start off with lots of different exercises so that you can weed out the ones that work well for you, and the ones that don't.

He's fun to listen to for the persona, but he took 10 minutes to cover a few basic themes without going in to anything specific.

What was Greg's intention with this video? To show the world that he can put forth an endless amount of drivel and incorporate "0" thought processing? If so, he succeeded.

If he is such an advocate of "listening to your body", tell me Greg, what the fuck was your body telling you prior to the last 200 site injections?

He states that you cannot watch an instructional video because its all "bullshit" and 'muscle worship'. Has he ever watched Dorians 'Blood and Guts?' You do not have to be a fan to watch it. You could attempt to apply the principles shown in the video. Hell, you may even be inspired to do so. Our bodies being so "different" wouldn't allow you to make gains? How different can we actually be.

Are we so different that when we show up in an Emergency room in the hospital, the doctors have to figure out just exactly "what works for us" before they can operate? How many different applications of scientific expertise are there when it comes to treating Type I Diabetes?

Greg is obviously on a pointless rant.

I guess I can give him credit for multi-tasking. He can smoke crack and mindlessly rant at the same time.

Good job, Valvolino. Listen closely, your body is trying to tell you something.

haha it's kinda funny that if he followed his own advice the massive damage he caused his own ridiculous body could've been avoided.

I guess I don't  have to ramrod the whole thing negatively.

He made a good point when he spoke of training bodyparts equally. Don't just focus on the ones you like, put the same amount of effort and "feel'' into the ones you don't really care about. I think the comparison he made was between the rear delts and biceps.

I don't know who would want to ask him about biceps workouts. That one kind of threw me off.

He  mentioned that twisting curls were completely pointless and worthless. You are not required to twist to curl, especially when doing bb curls. You are also not required to twist when performing db curls. If you decide to throw a twist in there, I wouldnt call it worthless. It just means that you have added a hammer type curl for the radialis on top of a contraction for the biceps brachii--consider it somewhat of a 'compound' exercise for the arms.

He speaks as if there are rules of dogma, and then none at all--requiring you to develop an innate relationship with each and every muscle. Many times he contradicts himself.

Its all about muscle stimulus. It doesnt matter if you go out on date with your quadricep or not. Sure the exercise may not "work for you"--but then again, maybe you are doing it wrong. Maybe the weights are too heavy for you. Could it really be that specific exercises must perfectly tailored for an individual?

Could be quite the challenge for the worthless Personal Trainers he speaks so highly of.
