I think it's a set-up.......Couture fights with UFC for what 18 months to get a match with Fedor, then he settles on a new contract and a fight with a green-ass Brock? WTF? I bet he throws the fight and gets released from his contract like Mirko. Then he's free to fight Fedor in whatever org he wants.

Just sayin, why else put someone like Lesnar, with very little experience in there with Randy?

Here's another possibility:

Dana might be trying to assassinate Randy's market value here.
He's practically having Randy run the gauntlet. Dana did the same thing to another fighter he didn't like: Tito.

He put the highly rated Tito Ortiz against the underrated Lyoto Machida, knowing full well Tito wasn't happy in the UFC.
What happened? The underdog embarrassed the big timer; Tito's stock value plummeted when he left the UFC.
Now Tito, if he can find another organisation to sign him, will have to settle for much less money.

Stylistically speaking, Lesnar is a bad match-up for Randy. Some would argue that, Lesnar's wrestling credentials are even better than Couture's;
the difference is, Lesnar presents the same thing in a bigger, younger, stronger package.

Brock vs. Randy means Randy win or lose, Dana wins.

Lesnar will lose big time. Lesnar is all chest, Couture is one of the best fighters in the world, Lesnar will be a easy victory for ''the natural''. What happened to that couture vs fedor fight. Thats would be a great fight, Couture is the only man that has a chance beating fedor, lets say 35%.

you got to be kidding me.  couture is the most overrated fighter in mma next to liddell.  what is couture's record like 15-8?  ::)

Hell no, Nog will destroy Mir...he's too well seasoned and experienced for Mir... Nog's always outlasted his opponents through sheer toughness, he's like a rock.

Lesnar should win this.
