Sapp Vs. Lesnar how would it go?
« on: November 17, 2008, 06:25:23 AM »
I was just watching the videos of Sapp and Nog and then watched Brock vs. Randy again and thought he this would be the biggest HW fight ever.. Size wise that is..

How do you fellas see  it playing out? I think Brock would own Sapp on the ground, but could Brock make it through the Gorrilla's wild loopy punches? Brock's size would also be thrown out the window..  What do you guys think?

Honestly with Brock's limited experience and the face that he hasn't really been chin checked yet, Sapp would probably knock Lesnar out.

You think so, I think that Brock might be fast enough to shoot in on the big ogre Sapp. I think Sapp would be to slow and Brock's speed would be to much. The thing that I question is if Lesnar could GnP Sapp out? I have seen Sapp take some shots that have made me questions the strength of his chin.

Don't forget, Sapp outweighs Brock by a good 70lbs. and like Brock, Sapp is all muscle
would be a hell of a fight to see! that's for sure.

The Chocolate Moose vs. The Vanilla Gorilla...yeah, that would be entertaining.  :D
Brock seems a bit more athletic. I think he'd get the takedown, control with his superior wrestling and win with his pitty-pat hammer fists.

I think brock would destroy sapp.  Sapp is a big guy, which means he is slow and lumbering.  Brock is a big guy as well, but he moves like a damn 155 pound guy.  People don't want to give brock much credit, but the guy is an absolute animal, and in a few years, he will be the best ever.

Problem is he's 1/2 of the current UFC heavyweight champion (with Nog being the second) he's gonna have to defend that title sometime in the next 2 years, it's only a matter of time before he gets caught.

Mir already caught him. Everyone loses and I expect Lesnar will lose again in the future, does that mean his MMA career is over?

Quick double leg, passes what Sapp calls a guard, gets to side control and drops the "spoiled child" rammerfists for the hef stoppage.

brock is just to much for sapp imo, sapp relies on brute force and haymakers and his ability to throw guys around the ring/cage.i dont see him man handling brock at all and when sapp throws his looping windmill punches brock will come straight down the pipe and it will be a matter of time before sapp hits the canvas, plus sapp will gas in 3 or 4 minutes so id put my money on brock all day long.a match i woulve loved to seen was a primed tom(bigcat)erickson against brock, now that would be one man i dont believe brock would be able to take down at will,i think erickson(6ft4 300lbs)and a decorated wrestler himself would have been a very tough fight for brock providing tom was in top shape and alittle younger

As pathetic as Lesnar is skill wise in my opinion, Sapp makes him look like BJ Penn meets Anderson Silva. Sapp was nothing more than a sideshow freak with absurd size and strength that threw haymakers until the other guy got Ko'd or he passed out from exhaustion. He kinda looked like the Fridge doing those strongman boxing compeititions on FX. Could you imagine him on the ground? Lesnar would wipe the floor with him.

Sapp dont like getting punched....FACT infact he shys off like a sissy bitch when anything remotely looking like a glove comes near his face. He would try and rush Brock, fail then blow up then he would get picked off by Brock.

True but at the same time Lesnar hasn't shown anything remotely impressive with his hands (yet)

Sapp Vs. Lesnar how would it go?

Sapp would probably gas before it got interesting, but I could almost see Sapp giving lesnar a few problems for the first half of the first round..

I like Bob Sapp for pure entertainment, but he's got way too many flaws to beat Lesnar.  He could always get a lucky swing in, but he's got a weak chin and poor stamina.  He also closes his eyes whenever a punch comes in!  Lesnar is much quicker on his feet for a big guy, and could keep moving until Sapp tired.

Cro Cop knocking Sapp out, he goes down way too easy, and doesn't seem to want to get back up:

Some Sapp highlights, as you can see, he's not one for stopping when he's told either!  Also, props to the last guy in this vid:
