If you believe in God and Satan, do you think either one influences your dreams?

I believe both can, yes.

I believe God for sure can influence waking and dreaming thoughts and I believe Satan can surely influence waking thoughts and so I would think he could influence dreaming thoughts....seems like it sometimes anyway!

I think I agree, but I've never really thought about it. What do you think is the source of nightmares? What about dreams where you are doing "bad" things you would never do in real life?

I've heard people say that demons or the devil were messing w/their dreams...or whatever and I don't really have any reason to think that that is impossible.....but I think some nightmares can come from stressful times in our lives or other reasons.

This is an interesting question on it's own as who really knows what they are capable of or might do in a certain situation? I think people surprise themselves all the time.

I agree stress can cause nightmares. I've also had other things cause them. My dad and I used to consume a huge pot roast in one sitting. I'd then stagger to the couch and fall asleep and have nightmares.

Happens whenever I eat too much and then immediately go to sleep.

Also, when I watch a scary movie I'll sometimes have a dream about someone chasing me with an axe or something.

I probably had one after watching Fallen. Spooky (but really good) movie.

I can't ever see myself getting into a gun battle, but I've had dreams where I'm fighting my way through a warehouse (usually after watching an action movie). Weird how that stuff works.

I've actually had a number of dreams come true. Because of that, whenever I have a "realistic" dream, I start thinking about the possible message behind the dream.

True story.

I had a dream the other morning. I was at work and there was a lion on the loose right outside my office. It was roaring as it was walking up and down the street. The roars where loud and consistent. The lion pasted a man who was in his fetal position but didn't harm him. I saw this outside my office window. Then my office window broke apparently from the roaring. At that moment i woke up. i was still half a sleep but i still heard the roaring. I sat up, looked around my room and then realized what the roaring was. It was my 17 year old son snoring down stairs.

His snoring must be Satan's work.

OzMo, your dream experience reminded me of years ago when I lived at my mom's I was having a dream that I was in an old building undergoing renovation. I dreamed that it caught on fire and the smell and smoke were choking me and I could barely breathe. I woke up and tried to open my eyes and they were burning and I could barely breathe! When I could finally see, I saw that my electric blanket was smoldering and my room was getting filled w/smoke. I opened a window and threw it out in the back yard.

generally a plain bagel. Althogh i like sesame and poppy seed too. I love bread lol. Toasted and without bananas. Peanut butter and honey is good too.

as a kid sometimes we would have toast with sweetened condensed milk. It was good too.

my mom had to make ends meet sometimes. SOmetimes we would have white bread and hot milk with sugar instead of cereal. It's still good though.

Same. Boxed Mac and Cheese was a staple. It was my favorite.

i still like boxed mac and cheese. Now you see why we grew up eating tongue and gizzards with rice, lol.
