Its not wasteful I understand your POV but i already stated its purpose for the most part. Again whether you believe it or not there are nations/ppl that would seek to dominate us if they could sorry hoss its better to be on top then on bottom this is the purpose of our military. The whole idea of removing bases, reducing military spending etc. while i understand the reasoning isnt realistic if we only mind our own problems sooner or later someone will bring their bs to us. The world cannot and will never function peacfully especially now with the commerce being what it is internationally.
