In Gloucester Massachusetts (where i was born and raised) the "Moonies" came to town and bought up waterfront property and were buying and selling fish,lobsters etc (also had their own fleet of fishing boats)
caused a lot of trouble (picketing,protests,break-ins to the "moonies" restaurant,fights etc etc)
was front page news for a few years...then kinna died down and everyone learned to live with each other
(plus the moonies paid the highest prices to fisherman for their "catch")
