Bunch of news in the middleweight division tonight so I thought I'd do a round up.

First off, Dan Henderson's camp tells Fighters Only that, contrary to rumor, he's willing to fight Nate Marquardt:

According to the Team Quest source, Henderson is not dead against fighting Marquardt, if that is the only fight that the UFC is looking for from him in the immediate future.

"He is ready to fight whenever he is needed, be that before the end of the year or early next year, whenever. He's open to fighting anyone, depending. Negotiating is a give and take process, so the contract has to be right."

And speaking of former UFC middleweight title challengers, Ariel Helwani has some news from David Loiseau:

When FanHouse spoke to David Loiseau recently about his MMA future, "The Crow" was still focused on continuing his career with the UFC despite getting cut by the organization in April. And according to Loiseau's agent, Ken Pavia, Loiseau thinks that trying out for the eleventh season of The Ultimate Fighter provides his best chance at getting back into the UFC.

Good luck to the Crow. I always liked him in his UFC run and thought he got a bit of a raw deal in his last stint with the promotion.

And then there's this bit of sillyness about Bellator middleweight champ Hector Lombard by way of MMA Weekly:

Bellator Fighting Championships has cleared middleweight champion Hector Lombard for a return to action in his home country when he faces UFC veteran Kalib Starnes at Cage Fighting Championship Oct. 9 in Queensland, Australia.
Ay yi yi. Its such a drag to see talented fighters like Hector Lombard, Eddie Alvarez, Dave Herman and Jorge Masvidal under contract to Bellator.

UPDATE: Aussie MMA hub InfiniteMMA has reported that the CFC event on October 9 has been cancelled/postponed:

CFC 11 which was scheduled to occur on the Gold Coast has been canceled due to the cancellation of both title fights.

The crow needs to focus on something other than spinning back kicks, he's trained with GSP forever, how has he not improved?  It seems like the beating Ace gave him broke him mentally.

David seems like a really slow starter,  He waits too long in fights.
