Undertaker beat C.M.Punk for the World Heavyweight title.

Jericho & Big Show beat Batista & Ray Mysterio to retain the Unified tag titles.

John Morrison beat Dolph Ziggler to retain the IC title.

Randy Orton beat John Cena to win the WWE title. (surprised at this one)

DX beat Legacy.

Mickey James beat Alicia Fox to retain the Women's title. (Not that anyone cares)

I was surprised they gave the belt straight back to Orton as well.  Also, how old did Michaels look at the end of that match?!

Report on Major CM Punk Heat, Taker Winning the Title

- Word going around the WWE locker room is that the reason CM Punk lost the World Heavyweight Title last night is because of heat on him stemming from an incident on the recent European tour.

The story goes that there was in issue with how Punk was dressed and The Undertaker said tried to nicely tell Punk that he was the World Champion and was representing WWE overseas so he should dress better. Punk said something to the effect of "what about John Cena?"

This got back to WWE management and they took it as Punk thinking he was a bigger star than John Cena. Then the decision was made to take the belt off Punk at Hell in a Cell and put the match as the opener. It is noted by Dave Meltzer that this may not be exactly how the story went down but it's how it was told.

The problems with Punk and losing the title has been the talk of the SmackDown locker room for the past two days. As noted last night before the show, several on the SmackDown brand were under the impression that Undertaker was winning and he did. There are some who are wondering why Undertaker was given the title considering his limited schedule and health problems with the feeling that it was too soon to take the title off Punk.

Word is that WWE is planning on going with a Batista vs. Undertaker feud for the World Heavyweight Title.

Very interesting. Mind you, I never felt that punk deserved to have the world title period. Hasn't paid his dues and he by far is no star.

Same here. The guy is good. But I don't think he has developed enough though. I don't know how he ended up Champion. But as soon as Batista went to Smackdown I knew another fued would develope between he and the Undertaker.
I think an Undertaker / Batista fued is definately in the works. They had a small fued a couple of years ago but it looks like they could spark it at survivor series, carry it through to the Royal Rumble and have a big WM finish.

So true. It could Batista to be the next guy on Takers Mania streak list. Mania is pretty far away for WWE standards. Especially with a PPV every three weeks. Wonder if they could drag it out that long. Tough with the Undertaker because no one believes anyone should or can beat him. Hard to match him against anyone these days. Did anyone think Punk had the slightest chance against the Undertaker in Hell in the Cell? I'm giggling to myself even thinking about it right now.
I can't see them using the HITC for WM. I can see just a regular match. In the eighties and most of the 90's, fueds would go on for up to s months at a time. We'll see. Maybe they'll scrap at royal rumble instead. Udually what happens at Rumble, leads into WM. I can't think of anyone else the taker could have a good fued with. But there ae three that come to mind. Batista, the Big Show and Chris Jericho. Jericho never scrapped the Undertaker before. Good draw there. Big Show and Taker had a small fued a couple of years ago. Nothing major that people would remember. Same with Batista.

Another WWE Rumour Going Around Regarding CM Punk

It seems the rumor that CM Punk was stripped of his World Championship due to an altercation over the dress code is not the only story circulating the industry.

According to F4WOnline.com, another story that made rounds this weekend is that CM Punk caught heat with WWE officials for openly expressing the belief that he felt it was too soon for him to drop the World Championship.

While most believe the former--that Punk expressed "attitude" when Undertaker confronted him about not dressing like a champion on the European tour--both stories generally point to one thing: a negative reaction to an alleged attitude problem on CM Punk's part led to his being stripped of the title in the Hell in a Cell pay-per-view opener.

News on what supposedly led to CM Punk's title defeat has generated two contrasting reactions from the lockerroom. As Punk has a reputation for being a "heat magnet" with a contingent of the roster, some were pleased to see what they perceived to be his attitude catching up with him and resulting in a punishment. On the other hand, there was a sector that felt anything he might have done was too minor to warrant going against better judgment by putting the World title on a wrestler who is clearly not 100% and does not work most house shows.

Serves Punk right. They guy IMO never deserved a world title run anyway. Hasn't paid his dues and is no Superstar by far. Not appealing to look at, no physique, nothing special in terms of in ring ability. Nothing.

Yeah, the "I'm better than you..." thing has been done a lot better by a lot of other people.  He needs a new angle, maybe throw in a failed drug test storyline, where he isn't as 'straight edge' as he would like people to believe?
