great thread.  your transformation to social conservative is nearly complete.

most notable is your timeline... it's like you morphed right along with palin and romney, from RINO to tea party to religious nut.

Im all for them having the same benefits which is why I support civil unions for all. The idea of marriage from a govt stand point is that it promotes beneficial results. Obviously offspring from a two parent well functioning house is better than a single parent house for the most part. So its to encourage things like that as well as others.

However if you argue that gays should have the right to marry b/c they are born that way, do you also support bisexuals being able to marry one of each sex since they are born that way?

What do you when roomates of the same sex live together for enough time that they could be considered married under common law?

lots of bs to accomadate an abnormal behaviour if you ask me...

I don't care what anyone does or wants to do in what ever situation.  It really doesn't matter to me.  As far as the government is concerned all marriages should be considered civil unions and nothing more. So an argument of gays being born a that way doesn't apply here.

As far as the common law thing with roommates, does it exist today that a man and a woman living together for a period of time as roommates be consider married under common law?

I dont really care either OZ i just dont want to be forced to look upon it like its some normal behaviour b/c the fact of the matter is it ISNT...its completely and totally ass backwards(no pun intended)

I think technically they have to be in a relationship but what if one person gets pissy and says hey were lovers and in a relationship so we are common law now?
