Jay wasn't rewarded for coming in at his best. Or at least not for that alone. He was dry, conditioned, huge and thick, making just about everyone else look smaller. He out-muscled everyone else while having decent enough shape to look good in the mandatories.
Toney and Cedric look great, but put them next to Jay and they'll look lanky due to their height. Cedric looks like he can go all the way in about 3 or 4 years if he continues to improve and pack on mass without compromising his shape too much.
I will not get into a argument...You and I can agree that this was argued ad nasuem back in Oct and Nov.
Mortalcoil, Phil is still in the running. He was hyped his first few yrs, and so far he's lived up to it. I think though, that in years to come he's gonna have to think for himself. He can't go to Jay and asked for advice if he should do a show or not. This maybe a crack in The Gift's armor. Unfortunately he may suffer from Flex Wheeler Disease---meaning that he has all the potential in the world, but he may not be number 1. Vic Martinez has this as well.
But take a look at Cedric, Winklaar, Khan, Heath, Greene, Vic...they are where bbing needs to go (minus the insulin use)
