fear is the number 1 way of controlling people.
but not too much, they always need hope to hold on to.

sad but true.

it only works because we let it work.
Just like Worldly/Organized Religion.

Countries are perfect tools to control people by setting groups of people against each other by default. And no-one questions anything. Best ideologies make zero sense! They are driven by emotions. That's what little sheep are made of.

Very true. And who controls MTV? Have you seen BRAVO TV lately. It couldn't get more obvious who is pulling the strings.

Again all these people saying religion "pacifies the weak" or pay off the preachers to "get the sheep to do your bidding," fail to say WHO is benefiting from all this.  I wonder if these people have ever even been to church?  Pastors preach out of the Bible... did these corporations / government leaders, etc write the bible?  Is it in their interest that the Bible be taught?

The truth is, the teachings of the Bible show a way of life that works (or worked, in previous centuries) for a great many people.  It preaches this way of life as divine and good, so the weak (back in Jesus' day, peasants, shepherds, brick layers, laborers of all sorts) could feel good about themselves and team up with each other in order to preserve their way of doing things and fight against changes that those in power would like to make.  People in power (the nobility) wanted to own slaves, they wanted to fuck whoever they could, wanted to kill anyone that got in their way, wanted to acquire huge wealth and conquer nations... all things which could impinge on the livelihood of the the peasants.  Over time the Christians became so successful at convincing everyone that their simple way of life was the best, that even the nobility began to doubt themselves, and believe that their aspirations were corrupt and evil.

Today, practically everyone is a Christian, whether they say it or not -- practically everyone is brainwashed into thinking it's somehow wrong to be promiscuous, own slaves, kill your enemies, etc. things which were done without a second thought in ancient cultures.  Just look at the president, ostensibly the person with the most power.  He is always a Christian, and behaves accordingly.  No longer do we have leaders who follow their desires, we have leaders who live in fear of character assassination from overbearing moralists.

As I said before, they may be sheep, but they are leading!!  Just look at the fucked up world we live in... if you know anything about history you'll see there have been many cultures far better off than our own.  In Greece and Rome the weak were enslaved and put to work, allowing the nobility to do what they wanted -- no one had any conspiracy theories about control in those days, it was obvious who was in charge. In America, the idiots are given a vote, everyone is treated as an "equal," everything is fucked up and no one knows who to blame so they pretend like there is some invisible, nefarious puppet master at the root of everyone's problems.

Someday everyone will realize it's not the "greedy corporations" directing the "blind masses of sheep" according to their mysterious will, but the mob itself, through sheer numbers and a brilliant teacher (Jesus) who have corrupted the hearts of many strong and powerful people, and consequently brought all of society down to their miserable level.

So, we should let the people in power just do what the fuck they want, at the expense of anyone who is "weaker"? Back to the way mother nature intended it? Natural selection? I guess 95% of us are fucked...
