I have a indifferent attitude about drugs...but, you sit and deal with what I deal with on the job...
Making the harder shit legal will do nothing but create more addicts...Remember the American Paradox, you can apply that to drugs as well. The actual problem is the System, The Laws, The Enforcement and the American Culture and it's views on drugs. That is what I'm getting at. We are a addicted and over medicated society. I'm looking beyond the decriminalization of the hard shit. Nor am I talking about deaths. But, I know of people who have died from Oxy, people because of Cocaine, crack, and heroine, people killed by "real n***a", as they like to call themselves, yet get off due to turning informant so the LE can make a bigger score, that hits the papers.
Basically, I'm giving my jaded and cynical view of things...
one big fucking scam on the American people, and I don't like it when people want to fall into the "let's decriminalize the drugs the problems will go away", to turn a blind eye to the main problem---the actual people, the user.

Again you are missing the point.  'The problem' is that the majority of drug users are not the junkies you refer to, but rather normal everyday people who hold down jobs and use drugs recreationally yet are 'criminalized' for their choice over what substances they choose to put into their bodies.  Nothing, and certainly not legality is going to change the life of a junkie.  Addiction is a medical issue and isn't going to go away regardless, but we waste money and time on lindsay lohan just because she likes to party.

How many of us are addicted to Getbig, yet hold full time jobs? How many of us could actually look better if we stopped posting?

Lindsay Lohan, fucked up, several times, and didn't take her PROBATION (damn, Probation, you and I would never get that) seriously...she was given a slap on the wrist...when a hammer should have been used the first time. What happens when her or some normal person runs over some kid or one of your family members, and it was found out that a compassionate judge let her off the hook, because hey, "she is a normal person who likes to party".

Addiction can be dealt with, what leads to addiction? What are the reasons? For every problem, there is a solution. We may not like it, but its the price we have to pay. Odd how the corellation of the downfall of society and the rise of drug addiction just seems to match up...

Pg. 2 :  Lohan didnt fuck up her probation at all.  She didnt get caught for a 2nd dui while on probation for dui, she simply failed a drug test.  If Lohan wants to drink and do coke, theres really no crime there.  The crime is when she gets behind the wheel high.  
And I'd guarantee you if the courts handled it differently the punishment would be taken much more seriously ie 'you can do all the drugs and alcohol you want, but if you get caught dwi again its one year in prison end of story'.  I guarantee she wouldnt be driving.  But instead we treat addiction as a part of the crime, so we offer rehab as opposed to jail so none of it is taken seriously.

It what people do to fuel their addiction...and what they do when they are addicted---and hell, what happens to their home life. I know of several "functioning" crack addicts, you wouldn't know unless they or their family pointed it out. But it effs with the family.

If Linsay's probation terms included the drug test and she effs  that up...then she effed up...Period. Depending on how that Judicial system works, the Porbation officer can file a report to the judge and request a warrant, which I think the Judge did issue a warrant...Thus her effing up, cause a warrant to issue for her arrest.

Some states have Drug Courts, like Maryland,  for habitual drug users. I don't know how well this helps the situation.

Basically, if people want to do coke and waht not,  in essence there is no crime...but when a person is high, and get behind the wheel...well it's the fact they got high in the first place. Not getting high and not getting behind the wheel=not commiting a crime. Basically it comes down to being responsible, and let's face it. Americans are not responsible people. Just go to a 4 way stop and just watch the people. Just try teaching at any public school, just look around you, there are more irresponsible people than responsible...and these people NEED to be told what to do, they NEED structure, because the sad truth is if they didn't have it: They would Eff it all up.

I always wonder why is it that a society like like  america has such a drug addiction, yet poor countries, don't have it as bad as we do?

At least she realized when her POS government was going to help her ass out one bit, she got going while the getting was good.  Heck the police department has only 13 officers and they are unarmed....what the fuck is she going to do given those circumstances.  It was a suicide job and its better to be fired than be dragged away to never be seen again like the other female police chief.
