Any getbiggers from North/South Dakota?

 Any of you live there or been up that way? How is it?

 Are the people there Christian fundamentalists? How's the culture? I heard it's really conservative and uptight, is this true?

 Are drugs like weed and mushrooms easily accessable?

 Are the winters fucking miserable or are they exaggerated?

 What's the lowdown on this place from someone in da know?

 Particularly the cities of Rapid City and Bismark.

 I need to find a new territory where "Big" BFRS can roam like an alpha male silverback gorilla. California has turned to shit and I refuse to go back there.

 It's attractive to me because it's cheap and the economy looks good. Also it looks like it'll be a solid place to live in the future, while mny oher parts of the US are gonna be fucked.

 The cold does look shitty. It looks like Rapid City is a little less cold than the rest of the area though. I could deal with it.

 I just wanna live the simple life in a small city or small town. In a place where I can afford to live and have a good quality of life. I don't care about partying or fun stuff to do, I just wanna live simple.

 Most places in the USA have a fucked economy these days. I'd rather live in a cold place than a place with a system that I despise.

 I used to want to move to the South West, but now it's gotten a lot more expensive and overcrowded than it used to be. It's gonna be facing seriously droughts soon too. Might not be a wise move.

 That's how it is when you move around a lot and live overseas for years.

 I've been away from the USA for like 5 years now. Just a few months ago I got the urge to move back there, before that I totally didn't want to. Getting old, ready to settle down somewhere.

 Boring, that's fine with me. The past few years i've been living in big Asian cities like Seoul, Shanghai and Bangkok, and i'm sick and tired of the fast pace. Small town for me.

 White people, I do appreciate diversity, but I don;t really need it.

 Meth heads, almost everywhere in the US is like that. Maybe they also have some weed they can hook me up with. Better than moving to a place with no drugs.

Not Oahu, either Maui or Kauai. Hawaiians are a very cool and laid-back kinda people, with that "Hang Loose" mentality :)

Skip the Dakotas and Wyoming, I'd only consider it if I was old , married, and did not want to be bothered.

Try Montana. I've friends that moved out there a few years back. The people are more laid back, the cuture is outdoorsy, but in certain areas it's gotten a bit more artsy and hip (for the area, if you know what I mean).

 Good tip, i'm also looking at moving there. I'm definitely interested in the North West area, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Dakotas etc. but i'm trying to find some little niche that has better weather. That's why rapid City looks good, looks like the weather is a bit more mild and dry and near a bunch of cool national parks.
