Well, Dillett was 6'1 and 280, Nasser was 5'11 280 with no huge gut...it's all genetics and what you use...when I say old school, I mean not doing what Dorian would do, not doing the Chad shit with plasma expanders...Haney had the frame to carry more, so he used more, that simple.
He barely edged out Dorian for his 8th Sandow, by then it was a new era. Haney looked like he run down the street and then do 50 pull ups...Dorian look like he could waddle down the street

6'1 is no 5'11....lol...
sonbaty....i have to give you that one lol! he is the only one to this day that did that, but even he looked better at 250..,,

ronnie was still symetrical after he supersized, the shoulder to waist differential  was still better than everybody else.the only downfall was he wasnt quite as hard as he was at a liter b.w.

ok, his frame did not change much...
but his gut got out of control man...
his legs blew uop in size... but the lines dissapeared.
his not so great abs got worse and worse.....
his calves looked worse, when he was bigger, so he oiled them up more....
and indeed he was much softer....

he was a better bb at 250... better overall!
the extra 25 pounds are water , oil(joke) and muscle in the wrong places.
he because of his excellent frame pulled it off ok....
when you frame is not that great...... KAMALI, KOVACS, etc etc

i believe everybody agrees that lee haney has better genetics than the current mr. olympia cutler so with the same drugs cutler takes i am sure haney would win the olympia now.. imo no one of today's top pros has haney's genetics..

lee's heaviest weight was a little less than 250 pounds.. with today's drugs i believe he could easily compete at around 275 pounds and in a sharer condition than his 80's shape so would easily beat cutler and the others in all poses..

imagine cutler with the drugs haney was taking in the 80s,.. could he beat haney??.. i dont think so.. so logically haney could beat him now also with the drugs of today..

still the whole subject is imaginary so any opinion can't be 100% right or 100% wrong..

The embarassing thing about that Haney-Warren comparison is that someone is actually paying money to see Branch guestpose looking like that.

Standards have dropped when that kind of shape and condition can garner support for a guestposing.

These days Haney at his best would barely qualify as a pro - he would probably still win the overall at the Nationals but he wouldn't really figure too much in the top tier of the pro ranks. Would probably still qualify for the Olympia though.

I think all of us would rather look like Haney for a day than Cutler...Hell, I think Cutler would probably rather look like Haney for a day.

And if you looked at the vid, Haney could do a little run, without looking awkward.
