i'm not sure if this video is "supposedly" after 1 year, they just said he could do 140-180 after one year which is the biggest lie i heard since "i aint never used no steroids" by ronnie coleman


a gifted athlete can snatch 120kg clean and jerk 150kg naturally after maybe 3 years and that's a very gifted athlete (naturally)

at least that's what i've been told


wtf here he is supposedly 17 years old, does this mean he started drugs at 14? (take into account what i said earlier^^^)

What Sev. said. You aren't hitting those numbers that cleanly in a year at that bodyweight. I won't doubt that he's natural, back in the 40's-early 50's when OL was bigger, you had young guys hitting similar numbers naturally, but they did have 3-5 years under their belt of hard training as you thought.

the guys who put up numbers like this naturally (i will accept that 180kg clean and jerk is possible naturally for some gifted athletes) were a lot bigger and heavier tho?

I tried olympic style lifting after I been at it 10 years .. it takes TIME  to develope that kind of timing trust me!

I did 5 years of olympic lifting before crossing over to general strength training.

I really tried hard etc (nutrition was pretty bad tho)

and I met a lot of other guys at competitions, some good trainers from the eastern europe (i'm in europe)

i don't understand how people would believe this guy has only been at it for 1 year LOL

Not always, but that that type of lifting would've made him him a very notible lifter back then, like a top 5-10 contender in that age and weight range many times. This is the type of kid US  coaches kid will keep their eye on in the future if he keeps with it.

He's definatly not new at it though.

Kids in highschools here are swimming in hormonesr. I remember when i was a freshmen, kids were already popping dbols and oral and by soph year..kids were swimming in injectables and orals. And I went to a private expensive catholic school in a rich town. Welcome to America!

no wonder, where i live only a handful of heavy guys who trained for over a decade got close to 180kg clean and jerk (supposedly natural but possibly low dose and lying about it)
