After reading many of GH15's posts (Sandow), I came to this conclusion about Mike Mentzer.

He stated he ate 800 Calories a day pre-contest.

Known Amphetamine abuser - ran around Venice Naked and drinking his piss.

It was these drugs that allowed him to come in condition and intake such low calories.  Also, in his Heavy Duty Journal he wrote about sleeping 4 hours a night.

I don't think Tren Ace was en vogue at that time and HGH if any was minimal.

I wouldn't believe the sleeping or eating part. Mentzer was a known liar for many years. I don't think he ment to be, but he was mentally on a downward spiral from the early 80's onward, maybe a bit earlier.

Yes,Mid 70s look @ Nubret.. Parabolan was "huge" amoung the french BB's - Nubret used to bring suitcases full of para and other harder to get AAS to Cali and trade - this is from a guy who lived at Venice at the time so Howard fuck up before even thinking of typing - Nubret is also one of the first BBs of note to play with thyroid meds also - This is genuine Para in the amps 76mg made in France we are talking here not the pellet shit.

Last weeks he might dip to 500 a day.  Would get really psyched and be in overdrive from that and the low calories, and stress. He was able to hold muscle on that, most of us would be hockey sticks with hair.

Lol @ 500 calories daily.  So i can be as thick as mentzer i just need to run deca dbol tren and test while taking meth and only eating 2 mcdoubles a day.

Does Hex still give the Tren cough? Thinking of trying the Alpha Pharma Tren at some point which is Hex I believe.

So I am assuming Parabolan is far superior to Tren Ace?  Isn't almost all Tren made in UG labs, whereas Parabolan was from Pharm companies? 

Strange you always see old timers mentioning Test, Deca, and dbol but not Para or Masteron.

Tren seems to be that drug that everyone wants to downplay because of how effective it is when preparing for a competition. Im almost positive these guys would never mention diuretics gh or uppers either. Its always just good ol dianabol....
