Kigtropin & Insulin Syringe Question
« on: November 05, 2011, 09:52:06 AM »
A 50 unit insulin syringe requires 100 units of water to add to a 1ml-10unit vial of kigtropin correct?

However, after using 8IU's(spread out over 2 days-2 shots per day) there is only 1.5 units of kigtropin remaining in the vial.

Is this a result of water evaporation while the refrigerator or a miscalculation of water from the initial reconstitution?

10 IU vile = 100 units from insulin syringe that must be filled to reconstitute solution.

If I had to guess, you lost .5 iu due to a little spillage when you drew the liquid from the vile or just drew a little extra not knowing pre inject.  4 draws from 1 vile is enough where I'd have to think you'd lose a little along the way.
