The late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.) played wingman for former Sen. Chris Dodd (D-Conn.) during Dodd’s date with Carrie Fisher, the “Star Wars” actress recounts.

According to excerpts of her new book, Kennedy asked some pretty frank questions during a dinner with Dodd and Fisher in the 1980s.

Fisher writes, “Suddenly, Senator Kennedy, seated directly across from me, looked at me with his alert, aristocratic eyes and asked me a most surprising question. ‘So,’ he said, clearly amused, ‘do you think you’ll be having sex with Chris at the end of your date?’” For the complete story, visit The Washington Scene.

Her reply: “’Funnily enough, I won’t be having sex with Chris tonight,’ I said, my face composed and calm. ‘No, that probably won’t happen.’ People blinked. ‘Thanks for asking, though.’”

His retort: “’Would you have sex with Chris in a hot tub?’ Senator Kennedy asked me, perhaps as a way to say good night? ‘I’m no good in water,’ I told him.” (A representative for Dodd did not immediately respond to ABCNews.com’s request for comment.)

Don't get me wrong, I think the Kennedy's are pretty much the shittiest political family on earth. I mean, what can you say about a family who made their fortune committing crimes and THEN got into politics... How does that even happen?

I believe you mean Cain but common sense says that if 2 of the accusers were paid 70k in a settlement for harassment, then chances are that there was reasonable conclusion that Herman Cain may have behaved badly.

Maybe, but companies settle shit all the time due to the cost of representation.   I've worked with HR in the past saw pretty much anyone could sue and get a settlement just because it was cheaper and more efficient.
