Contract Killing: 'UK bombs its way to Libyan oil'
« on: November 15, 2011, 07:00:10 AM »
Libya's got big plans for its post-war future - with hopes of being reborn as the next Dubai. On paper, it's got the qualifications - sun, beaches and rich oil reserves. Western companies are lining up for their stake - but it's the UK that is likely to come out on top. RT's Laura Smith says Libya now grants UK with oil contract for airstrikes London carried out.

Countries are motivated by self-interest, this was no doubt cloaked as a 'humanitarian' mission whilst licking their lips at the potential economic returns.

we fly our planes over much worse human rights violations, on the way to 'rescuing' people in nations with plenty of oil.

it's been like that since the beginning of written history.  Columbus wasn't 'exploring' for the sake of learning what the world was like... he was out to loot some resources.   Colonialism is how the world works, its how man works.  You take away all rule of law, and yes, you and your neighbor will start stealing each others crops, womenfolk, and land, sure.
