GH Cycles

Hey getbiggers,

Skip to the bottom for cliff notes!

I have been reading the boards as much as possible over the last few days and, while I seemingly have a million questions, I have a few questions about GH that are particular to my situation, but that I believe would be interesting to lots of kids with a similar background.

First, my basic information:
-Age:20, Height 5'7", Weight: 185lbs, BF%: low 20s, training background: ~3.5mo serious powerlifting (365x5 squat, 205x5 bench, 365x5 deadlift) with random stuff like bowflex, weights here and there, pushups, situps, martial arts, etc. off and on since 16.

Anyways:
I've consistently read that one should build a foundation for 2-3 years before jumping into any kind of hormone. I've also read that one needs to build an AAS foundation before jumping into the mega doses required for high level amateur or professional bodybuilding. As a person who has truly taken to powerlifting and strength, I actually like lifting. Putting in the time is not the problem. I do not have any real desire to be a professional bodybuilder one day although I do have an interest in the "fitness model" type look. I would like to do personal training at some point.

I am interested in using GH to maintain a lower body fat % while still eating the amounts of food necessary for growth and recovery as a powerlifter. As well, I'd like to be able to eat like a normal, sane human being while walking around in the high singles. Eventually, I will want to, and need to, for competitive reasons, add in cycles of AAS, but not before I am finished developing. I have grown 1.5" in the last six months and I come from a family of late bloomers. My grandpa was 4'11" at 18 and grew to 5'8" by 25. It may be delusional to think that I have more growing to do height-wise, but I'd rather not risk stunting the development of ANY of my systems.

For these goals, what dosage protocol makes sense (if any)? The three possibilities I had in mind were: 1) constant, year long use at 2iu/day or 2) cycles of 3mon on/3mon off or 2mon on/2mon off with a similar dose of 2, 3, or 4iu/day or 3) don't do it all because of the "risks" (what are they?). Are there any long term side of affects of HGH that I need to worry about at these doses? I have read of potential long-term insulin resistance, which is why I thought it may make sense to cycle the GH in and out as needed (besides dropping water for meets). Is there anything else I should be aware of when it comes to HGH "supplementation" as a young, growing, still-developing male?

Cliffs:
1) Is there any maintainable benefit to GH only cycles?
2) If ONLY using GH would it make more sense to blast/cruise, constantly cruise, or use a typical cyclical approach if general health concerns are a priority?
3) Are there any dangerous side affects to "low doses" (2-4iu/day) for a developing, still growing, young male?
4) Will using "low doses" of GH ruin my ability to build a solid foundation?

Thanks for any and all help fellow getbiggers.

I've always wondered this. Also wondering if a any negative effects can be seen form the low doses you posted....like overgrown head/hands/feet/etc.

I knew this topic would be of interest to others.

Interesting. I know "they" always say that HGH only helps with height when you have an "HGH deficiency", but I really have no idea what kind of doses they prescribe to underdeveloped teens and children. I'd imagine it isn't as much as someone would take for lifting and/or aesthetics. But I'm talking out of my ass here and hopefully someone else will chime in.
