"The last two businessmen we had as presidents were George W. Bush and Herbert Hoover. One led us into the Great Depression and the other led us into the Great Recession."
Use this, folks! We don't want a "businessman" running the country. They suck at it. He also said the role of business is to make a profit not to increase jobs.
Apparently, community organizers ain't all that great at running the country, either. Can you say:
- 8% or higher unemployment for 40 months straight
- 9% or higher unemployment for 33 months
- First president to get the country downgraded
- First president in over 70 years to have his party lose over 60 House seats and six Senate seats in his first midterm.
- More debt than all his predecessors combined.
- First president since over 70 years to have a month with literally ZERO jobs created.
And that's just the short list.
Yes, indeed!! The role of businesses is to make profit. You think the folks who started Apple computers did so saying, "Gee, I want to make jobs for other people"?
If businesses don't make profit, people don't have jobs. BTW, Obama gave Solyndra over half a billion dollars. Guess how many people got laid off as a result.
