as Mothballs pointed out, Kap plays reckless and while he was awesome, and i love watching him play... he's gonna get blindsided and wrecked at some point.

Also I stand by my point that he has to IMPROVE this year - Kap from 2012 won't be as good in 2013 because teams have had months to study his game film.

i'd rather watch Kap play than 95% of the QBs in the league... but if I had to bet on if he'll duplicate the success, I'd predict a step back.
harbaugh keept his rushing under wraps in every game except one. the run option is deadly. watch it all season long next year. i predict 5+ games with both gore and kaep rushing for 100+ yards each.

How can Kaep NOT improve next year?

He has only started 10 games!  He is not as reckless as Russell Wilson or RGIII.

There were times during the Falcon game when he could have ran but chose not to. Same with the SB.

The kid froze up a little during the first two quarters in the SB. But so did the rest of the 49ers. Crab got that penalty on the first play!  Kaep threw a 20+ yard completion if it weren't for that flag.

You also have to factor in that Kaep is a big guy. 6'4" 230 lbs. fast and quick as shit. How many times was he cleanly stuck hard last year?  Even on the read option play after handing it off it was hard for Baltimore to get a good, clean shot on him.

Oh btw, Alex has no arm strength. If The chiefs keep his offense short and they protect him he's a good, competent qb. He just isn't dynamic enough to be an elite qb.  Oppossing coaches were never afraid of him. Or game planning for him. He struck no fear in them.

But the dude has thick skin. He won't pee on himself. He's not a little girl. He's a quiet leader type.

I mean I'd love for him to be my mechanic or plumber. Just not my teams starting qb.

I do wish him luck and I think Alex is worth that 2nd pick. Look at what Oakland paid for Palmer. Or what was paid for Kolb.

yup. and he was hit HARD several times this year. got up like he is a fullback. he is bigger than most guys in the secondary. and faster than the guys up front.
