How does this happen in the land of the free? How does this go on in the United States of America? Do we really need the government to protect us to the point it violates our rights as Americans? Wake up people.  We are living in in a time where our freedoms are being challenged. The government has the ball and their headed for the endzone. It's time we wake up and take that ball back along with our freedoms. We need to send a message to Washington, and we can do this by exercising the rights we still hold. Get out out and vote people. Tell Washington that were sick and tired of being sick and tired. Read your Constitution, know the rights that were fought for and granted to us as Americans. Good post bro. They are obviously going for the big grab right before everyones eyes. People are beginning to see what's going on. Unfortunately, there are alot more people that don't understand and will fall into the hands of these evil scumbags. Anyway, thanks for being on the team.

I understand what you mean. I did 10 years in the Air Force also. I have no wife or children though and I fear it will be much worse so, I will "get" while the "gettin's" good.

The government mistreating its citizens is nothing new.  Government oppression and abuse has existed since the founding of this country.  Anybody remember slavery. The founding fathers had such little faith in their own citizens that instead of a true democracy we have a representative government controlled by and operated for the betterment of the elite. 

Again, this is nothing new.  Many of the founding fathers were themselves elitists who advocated that only white males who owned property would be eligible to vote.  People only notice problems when it effects them personally.  The fantasy of a golden age of America that we must rerurn to is just that, a fantasy and a product of delusionary nostalgia with no basis in reality.

These aren't "Constitution free" as much as "Constitution ignorant". Go to youtube and see the proper way to respond to an unconstitutional stop.

Repeatedly ask "Am I being detained?" and "Am I free to go?" and mark the exact time (with the DHS guy watching) that the stop begins. There are time limits of detention without cause. Be polite and respectful, but your are NOT required to "show your papers" to this idiots, no matter how much they try to intimidate you.

Then, if you are unlawfully detained, get a Constitutional attorney and take that shit to the mattresses.

This is more about privacy issues than being detained. The Department of Home Land Security has taken it upon itself to snoop through all of our communications. Weather its on the internet, or on our phones. Everything is being recorded and stored in data bases. It is a complete violation of our 'Right to Privacy'.
