I am talking about if you want to know about electricity or electronics, ignore that Dollard guy and get your Ham License.  Get involved with Ham Radio and the group of people you will be involved with will be a Borg of engineering knowledge.  Some would probably be good carpenters too.

you see that is a nice suggestion but i do manual labor all day and dont have time for any indept group discussion via communicating on ham radio. Eric dollards material is readily available in text format , i wish to listen to eric while im doing manual labor, i cant get involved with ham and do manual labor. i have nothing against ham though , eric dollard explains pretty much anything, i just  need a text to speech app that isnt gonna cost me very difficult to find one
