Yes I get a full metabolic analysis done every 6 months. 20k IU during winter months keeps me upper normal, which is exactly what I want my D levels to be. I'm also 242lbs currently so my body requires a bit more than normal. I drop down to about 5K in the spring summer months for obvious reasons.
I current smash the greens powders.
Wish I could afford to juice but I would spend so much fuckin money every week on fresh veggies, it's just too expensive at this phase of my life as a college student. But I will eventually, no doubt it's the superior option.
Wow no kidding... that's not unheard of though, some people need up to 100, 000iu/week so I'd believe it. Crazy how low the RDA is compared to what some (most?) people need.
Bro, just toss greens (kale or spinach), half of a lemon, 2 stalk of celery, a carrot, ginger, half of an apple, a whole egg or two, and a scoop of protein powder/greek yogurt/liquid egg whites....or something like that. The ingredients aren't important, just use a wide variety of veggies. Juicing in the traditional sense is overrated. Smoothies is the best option for maximum nutrient retention and absorption. Cheaper & water too
