Wiggs aside from the fed scamming some other countries asset ( in this case gold) how is this of significant importance to the financial and monetary systems of the world since it is entirely fiat anyways? All I see here is a theft between countries but how does this impact the regular citizen? I'm aware I could be missing something if you could fill in the blanks it would be appreciated

WIGGS, Interesting that you asked that question because I've been asking the same thing for the past few months and have been doing a bit of reading on the subject.

Are you aware that the WWII Monuments Men were quite successful in returning the priceless art-work to its rightful owners which Hitler had 'stolen' and intended to display in his new German Museum once he conquered the 'world'.

But just recently a large number of those 'stolden' art objects were found in an old man's apartment someplace in Europe and they are having a hell of a time resolving the problems involved in finding their rightful owners.

His father was one of Hitler's boys who 'collected' various pieces of art for das furher while Germany was on the warpath and these items were believed to have been destroyed during the war , burt actually this old guy was selling them piece by piece throughout his lifetime.

WIGGS, I want to suggest that you and a few other GetBiggers read "The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History" by Edsel, Robert M.

I believe that the movie will be released around Feb 7 in most theaters but I do suggest you read the book to get a better understanding of what it's al about

And while doing so, check out the artwork as mentioned in the book
starting with Hitler's Degenerate Art and all the masterpeices that were eventually found in a salt mine in or near Linz (Hitler's birth-place) with the Nazi-hope that they would all be displayed in the German Museum that Hitler planned to build once he conquered the world.

I do recall that they did find the German 'treasury' in that salt mine, but now I will have to re-read that part of the story in an attempt to find out if the author discovered what happeded to all that currency.

In 1996, in Sydney I met very old Czech man who received his Olympic medal from Hitler.
