Ibiza Weekend Carnage Looming

I have been fairly quiet on the night life front these last couple of months. So I have some catching up to do as I am a man who refuses to grow up. Sending my girl away to her home land in Scandinavia and will be catching a flight to the white Island. I already have my plans ready which consist of little to no sleep.

I arrive at 4pm, and will head straight to Café Mambo to absorb some vibe and drink some sangria whilst seeing off my first sunset:


The I'll find somewhere quiet to enjoy a paella (yes carb loading)

Get changed and head to Ushuaia for the night til the early hours


Next day I'll be recovering in Ocean Club


café mambo again and yet to finalise where I will be ending up later, but Space, Amnesia and Pacha are all on the menu.
Bora Bora beach by day again


My last day will be spent unwinding and recovering on a secluded beach before heading home and back to my desk job.

I couldn't face that place again.

I remember going out with the lads one Monday night and getting back to the apartment on Wednesday afternoon - most of what happened in the middle is a pharmaceutical haze.

Four indestructible guys got off the plane on that Island and 11 days later, four empty shells crawled off the return flight at Bristol.

That was 18 years ago though.. It was a crazy place in the late 80's and early 90's. It doesn't look to have changed much...

It is what you make of it....every time I've been my experience has been totally different, first time I landed I met a girl in the airport, lo and behold she was staying at my hotel, I went awol on my mates in what was a 4 day induced foreplay with a bit of sex, filled with alcohol and other substances in between I didn't know what day it was anymore.

Other times were more structured and I usually tend to get a "chillout Ibiza" vibe by day in some hidden bars in cliffs listening to some tunes and drinking and mingling with girls til the night comes and we up it up.

I haven't managed to achieve my usual summer shape this year, about 80% of it, busy with work, gear supply arrived late and was shite, and I'm seeing a girl now regularly so the hunt is not the same, other than that I will certainly have a blast and share some pics.

I did go in 97/98, was in my late teens and David Morales was kicking it there with Judge Jules...etc and yes it was awesome. It has changed a little, more pretentiousness coming in, mainly cos some celebs now go there and people wana be there too....but TBH I'd rather it took this slight turn then end up like Magaluf.

I was there in 97 as well. Was 18 and stoned the entire time there.
