Looking good with a shirt on is one thing but looking large and lean as Conan needs to be is another. Personally find it hard he would be able to do both with his health issues and needs to come close to a Conan physique as possible or people would be disappointed comparing old to new.

Unless of course this is one of those "son of..." Movies which then it will stink and not worth making anyway

 he's actually got more muscularity than in Conan the barbarian he was big there but smooth, destroyer he brought in a whole new package, like a scaled down Mr o physique. He seems to be between those at the moment. His main issue is the wider waist but there's a recent vid in Wal-Mart where you can see he's trimmed it right down and abs are visible through the shirt.

But his torso is not longer similar to one of a man under 65 and fit let alone to be shirtless with a sword on a horse fighting Vikings on the big screen .
