we dont need a minimum wage.. we need a MAXIMUM wage

This is one of those ideas that sounds good to those who don't understand Economics.

In practice, it incentivizes leisure and creates labor shortages at the highest level positions.

When a top Heart Surgeon reaches the maximum, he puts down the scalpel and picks up the Golf clubs.

$15 min wage will move poor people who are use to living like scumbags into areas that are better kept. And then those areas will become flooded with rift raft which will drive up rent in nicer areas to keep the min wagers out...Right now the World Banks say the poor are under banked or are not using the banking system at all. $15 will move a lot of these people into the World Banking system which will increase the amount of debt for each person...Sanders is the guy who wants a bank at every post office.

Yes, people are going to get rich or upper-class on 15 bucks an hour, so rich they are gonna be able to move to the Upper East Side of Manhattan and Muttontown and Brockville, Long Island.

On 15 bucks an hour, one wouldn't be able to move into a damn phone booth in NYC and Long Island.

Top earners working less is already a real thing without a wage cap.  The labor supply curve is always backwards bending.  As the price for labor goes up so does the supply because people want those $$.  After a certain point the marginal value of money < value of free time, causing labor supply to decrease as wages still increase.  A maximum wage would just set the limit where the labor supply curve changes directions

Min wage should be $20 per hour and that way people would be able to buy more stuff and stimulate the economy.  :D

Except that $20 will probably be worth what $8 was the year before  :-\
