Commander In Chief Forum on MSNBC
« on: September 07, 2016, 05:16:31 PM »
These military folks are tearing hilary's ass up.  Four straight tough Qs about her email & decisions on Libya/Iraq.   No softballs.

I truly LOVE to see these candidates getting tough ass "gotcha" questions.   Softball interviews suck.

Trump quotes

"If he says great things about me, I'm going to say great things about him."  (Putin)

And if you look at what happened, look at the aftermath today where the people that arranged the trip in Mexico have been forced out of government. That’s how well we did.

You know, it used to be to the victor belong the spoils. Now, there was no victor there, believe me. There was no victor. But I always said: Take the oil.

Well, they’ll probably be different generals, to be honest with you. I mean, I’m looking at the generals, today, you probably saw, I have a piece of paper here, I could show it, 88 generals and admirals endorsed me today.

Trump says he could tell his classified intel briefers aren't happy with Obama because of their body language

First, he's an idiot.  Second, if it were true, he's throwing his intel briefers under a bus.

They were probably giving him false information, that's the thing.

He wanted to tell the world that the intel briefers hated obama... BUT he knows it's a crime to admit a single word he was told.

So he makes up "body language".

He probably figures CIA briefers aren't going to come out and deny it, so why not just make it up?

I want to see Trump take this thing from Hillary and go on a busting spree.  Right as many wrongs from the past as he can.

Oh yeah, america will be fine no matter what.  The drama and adventure and "oh shit, told ya so" with trump would be glorious.

He'd still have to win.  Statistically, that'd take a miracle.  I guess we'll see what Russia, Putin, and RT pundit Assange can deliver 3 days before the debate.  At this point, I doubt much of anything would drop hilary below 45%

And the money says Hillary has about a chance of 9 compared to a chance of 2 for Trump.  When people are putting bucks up, the future has a funny way of being very predictable.  Nearly all info becomes weighed, no matter how hidden or obscure.

Yep, the money is pretty honest.  I don't think we're allowed to wager on it in the USA, though.

I wouldn't touch it for anything, the way it's gone.  But maybe that's what keeps the hope going for now, the fact we're in unknown territory and there's some hope this spell from the past two administrations will be broken.

intrade was legal in 2012, I think.  I never bet but would follow them.  There was only once when Romney overtook obama - right after debate #1.  It ended up being obama by a mile.

I do remember getbiggers celebrating the electoral college win after Romney took the 51% chance lead after debate #1.

President Romney was actually +40 with the military.

Didn't realize Romney was running. Try to keep up this time.

there is a historical precedent.  Romney lost the election and had way more military vote.

Your post did nothing but show us that Hilary is doing much better with military than Obama did, and that Trump is doing much worse than Romney did.

Did you purposely post that to shit all over Trump?

"I've always said take the oil".

What does that look like.  Does he not realize what that'd involve?

I've said all along- trump is in major trouble anytime he has 90 second to speak about a topic. His specifics are silly, immature, and not rooted in real world realities.

He tries SO hard to look wel informed... Correcting the veteran during her Q about suicide rates?  Just don't do that.  He bragged and he made up some body language analysis regarding top secret briefings.  Just showing off that he's somehow down with the cia guys and they all hate Obama.

I don't hear any getbiggers defending this.  I used they're waiting for mean Hilary articles to post.

When he said the body language of the Intelligence officers told him they hated Obama for not listening to their advice...

He looked up and to the right SO OBVIOUSLY.  Watch the video.  It's hilarious and very obvious he was just BS'ing it on the spot.

Many psychologists believe that when a person looks up to their right they are likely to be telling a lie. Glancing up to the left, on the other hand, is said to indicate honesty.

Trump said 9 stupid things in 24 minutes.

He will have about triple that time during the debates.  Going to be some awesome television.

American backed and funded organization (came yesterday under scrutiny of being banned, btw) itself suggests Putin's approval rates are close to what Trump has been referring to.

http://www.economist.com/news/europe/21689626-russias-president-impervious-woes-afflict-normal-leaders-vladimir-unbound

His approval ratings at the time fell to 63%, his lowest in over a decade. But after the annexation of Crimea in 2014, those ratings soared to nearly 90% and have not come back to earth since.

Paddypower has held at 2 and 9 as to the specific question of Hils taking the WH, now has lurched to 2 and 5.

I'm not much of a traditional gambler (despite handle) and certainly wouldn't be the most knowledgable person to comment on it, but it looks like a shocking hit.
