Twins (one boy, one girl, 5 years of age) enrolled in "Tae Kwon Do" and have brought the martial arts discipline and lifestyle into the home.
You learn a lot more than just throwing your opponent around, but I'm a little bit tired of bowing every time they enter the room.
And every time I ask one of them a question, they come to attention with a slight bow and with their hands in the 'lotus position'(?) and respond in a loud voice with a "Sir" at the beginning and a "Sir" at the end.
Great training for kids but they grow up too fast and sound like they just got out of boot-camp.
I highly recommend some form of martial arts training for all GetBiggers even if you have no intent of throwing your wife or kids or the next door neighbor around.
Discipline is of prime importance within the world of martial arts and you can never get too much of that regardless of the age in which you find yourself.
....... and lastly .... I'd like to recommend Krav Maga!
