Grew up in Jersey. The mob was strong in north Jersey when I was young.  It doesn't exist anymore.

When Clapton performed his acoustic version for MTV’s Unplugged, and it was then played incessantly, everywhere, I grew to loathe the tune.

The better Clapton song from that movie is Sunshine of My Love. That scene is bad ass.

the thing about music and great songs in particular is how they can elicit memories of good times and events in your life...songs like thin lizzy's the boys are back in town, steve miller's fly like an eagle, and bruce sprinsteens rosalita always remind me of good days back on the jersey shore beaches, avalon, sea isle city,wildwoods nj..
