I don't want to suggest anything here with any degree of certainty, but is it possible that Ronnie is seeking opioids, or are opioids allowing him to persist in a lifestyle that requires him to get continual surgeries?  in his documentary "The King", Ronnie stated that he uses 30mg of oxycodone every four hours.  Is 180mg of oxycodone daily close to the top allowable prescribed dosage, or will that get increased in any way?

I just don't understand Ronnie's mentality here.  Does he feel driven to do this until his actual demise?  What more does Ronnie have left to prove?

Any insight on this would be appreciated.

He's addicted to opioids for sure.

https://www.drugs.com/dosage/oxycontin.html

"OXYCONTIN 60 mg and 80 mg tablets, a single dose greater than 40 mg, or a total daily dose greater than 80 mg are only for use in patients in whom tolerance to an opioid of comparable potency has been established. Adult patients who are opioid tolerant are those receiving, for one week or longer, at least 60 mg oral morphine per day, 25 mcg transdermal fentanyl per hour, 30 mg oral oxycodone per day, 8 mg oral hydromorphone per day, 25 mg oral oxymorphone per day, 60 mg oral hydrocodone per day, or an equianalgesic dose of another opioid."

The man is in a haze & nodding 24/7 from all the opiates he's taking. I'm not sure he still remembers he has dozens of kids anymore,  pretty sad.

At this point what does he do?  He is in such bad shape if he comes off the opioids he would be bed ridden and in constant pain.  The end looks near for Ronnie. :'(

What I really found hilarious is Ronnie taking a phone call while Dave is asking him a question. Ronnie has no respect for Palumbo he just wanted to plug his new book. LMFAO

On an RXMuscle video - I think it may have been in 2014, just after the Mr. Olympia contest - Dave asked Ronnie how many kids he had at that time, and Ronnie said something like "8 or 9, I can't remember", LOL.  It was pretty funny.

He may have something like $100K USD in annual child support payments.  That makes my $21,600 CAD [$4.46 USD] per year look like nothing but a peanut by comparison.

Ronnie also said that had he known how much money he could have been making in the supplement business, he would have quit bodybuilding much sooner.  I'm not sure about that though - after his 2005 Olympia win, he told Lonnie Teper that he wanted to win ten Sandows.

I can't recall when exactly he started the Ronnie Coleman Signature Series line, but it wasn't immediately after his last Mr. Olympia contest in 2007.  So maybe what Ronnie meant is that he would have immediately started his supplement line, rather than wait during an interim period between his last Mr. Olympia / bodybuilding contest and whenever the Signature Series line was introduced.

It looks like Ronnie's supplement line has been around since at least early 2013, according to the date of this video taken by...me.  ;D

Has anyone heard of a human that's gone through more back surgeries? I imagine those are some of the worst as far as pain... and he's had how many over such a short time?

Is he addicted? Maybe. Maybe not. But does he live in a huge amount of pain from surgery-after-surgery? Probably.

I would say he has a mental disorder, a sane person would not be doing leg presses after 9 back surgeries.

And all the comments from fans schmoes don’t help either. Those dumbasses are cheering him on knowing the man is mentally ill

Oh yes!
I'm sure there must be a much higher dose that will help to get his goals achieved faster.
My guess is the Oxi's should be taken only once a day. All of em in one go with vodka for sweetspot effect.
If not working to satisfaction, repeat but drastically increase the amount.
About right?

Why the added vodka?  Are Oxy's not sufficient by themselves?

The idiot is going to go deaf from all (d)opiods he's taking.  (D)opiods...sometimes I make myself chuckle.  'tis a fitting word for Coleman.
