Life sucks, but it is also a blessing.

Wes, let me share one of my simple thoughts on life (a thought which is nowhere as deep or provoking as the views many others have already shared). Consider life and the time we have on this world to be much like a game of musical chairs. As kids, we all played this game or a variant of it at some point. Set number of chairs on the floors with usually a group of people surrounding the chairs, consider this “group” the people born around your time of birth. These people always outnumber said chairs by 1 person and the game, otherwise what I like to call life, starts by the playing of "music", which we will consider to be time. People dance, or what I view as age or live their lives, around these chairs with eager excitement as the music plays, we capture each other's eyes and experience much joy as the music plays with anticipation of who will stay in the game (life). As the music stops, one person ultimately gets disqualified, yet soon-thereafter a chair also gets removed as to guarantee that another person will soon leave the circle of the game (life). Little by little, it gets to the point that the same group of people that started this game (life), are down to just two individuals with one chair standing in between them. Ultimately, only one person grabs that chair once the music stops, the other passes on. What people fail to realize is that even though that last person is deemed the winner of that game and might get some cheap prize, immediately after that quick burst of excitement ends, the last chair is also removed from the floor, thereafter the music ceases to play and the game (life) ends for everyone, including the person that was found sitting on that last chair. Even that person soon realizes that what mattered the most wasn't winning a price or outlasting (outliving) everyone else in the game (life), but that instead the experience of playing the game with their group for as long as they did (be it a short time or long time), with the sound of the music, the emotions experienced, individual connections made & the joy of both victory and defeat is what made the whole thing worth it. Because no matter what, even if you're the first one to leave or the person that gets to sit on that last chair, the game (life) will end for us all. The beauty of it is having had the chance to play the game of life to begin with. You are literally 1 in close to 500 million sperm that made it far enough to open your eyes to this life. Embrace that lottery ticket regardless of what time is left to claim it.

On your days left on this earth, consider that no one who you interact with today will likely be around past another 80 yrs. We are all on borrowed time my friend. We shall all pass on. Enjoy your time left on this earth and be yourself. Don't let agony fuck you up the ass, unless you appreciate getting fucked up the ass and then I would suggest continuing the ass fucking. Ultimately, just live the life you still have.

Again this is one of my simplistic views to life, I hope it adds to your distraction.

Don't I know it! I  am likely a lot closer to the station at the end of the line than you are. For me though, the train isn't a runaway, but a leisurely excursion on Amtrak's Superliner. Best views ever.

This thread was abought my intolerance to doctors calling me constantly and about a 15 day warranty for a $350.00 dollar computer not a ploy to get sympathy..............I dont want or need pity from anyone here or in real life,but for those of you who offered great advice thank you just the same.
