A divide in hollywood.... New hulu movie about oxycontin

Showing what a disgrace our whole medical establishment is

In 5 years the same producers will have another about pfizer vaccine

People seem so easy to passively forget what scumbags doctors are, the movie looks good

Maybe hollywood isnt divided n just telling it and profiting , just seems like bad timing or perfect timing for this hulu movie

Doctors are not drug experts.

They learn about the prescription drugs from pharmaceutical reps and info from the manufacturer.

Some specialized Doctors (surgeons) may have a deeper understanding of specific drugs but the reason the prescribe items is because it’s considered “safe”.

Yep- most doctors have zero knowledge of the chemistry of drugs. Not a knock on them because they have to know so many other things. But the pharmaceutical companies take advantage of that and push drugs on them.
