Nice to see this Ironage video from Mass! Mass seems like a nice state to live - it doesn't seem like it's being targeted for radical change, and I feel like the political atmosphere is more stable. I could be wrong though. Martha's Vineyard is pretty cool though.
I can honestly say that the quality of that video doesn't look much worse than the video from my cheap phone, and I suspected that video might be from the 1980's, but a lot of it seemed newer to me. I would say the biggest giveaway was the design of the shirt worn by the friend of the Italian. Even some of those cars don't look horribly out of place. Bandana aside, the Italian looks like he could be in clothes worn today. Then I checked online, and the date "Summer 1985" was given, with a link to an Ironage website about accents:
Italian-American blue collar accent from Boston's North End as spoken by a local youth, recorded Summer 1985. Unedited video capture of this unique dialect, spoken by an unforgettable character. More entertaining Americans at http://www.cnam.com/project/american-tongues
Summer 1985 - If the Italian in that video was 24 there, he'd be 60 today.
Then I noticed that the website had a very old look - as if it has been online since the Ironage. Meanwhile, it isn't even five years old, LOL:

This video was recommended to me with the one above, and it is pretty cool. I was curious about Boston, Mass:
