"Born: November 15, 1951, Germantown, Pennsylvania, Pennsylvania, USDied: June 10, 2001, Rolling Hills, California, US".Mike would have been 19 at the contest.
He looked amazing at 19. I think his best was the 1982 Olympia. He was the most cut in his career. One guy who wrote for Ironman said he was in the gym with Casey and said he used about 15 sets a body part. Even Mentzer mentioned he went to volume. Looking at him at 19 all I can think of is that the original Dianabol and Anadrol 50 were amazing drugs. No, I don't have a clue what he took except for rumors. I was in communication with Casey before he died. He told me his blood work came back perfect and he has great insurance. Sadly he looked heavy and bloated near the end of his life. Soon he was dead. Never know, I could be dead tomorrow too.He will go down as a legend in bodybuilding.
Pete's alive, Casey is dead... Pete for the win!
Pete is not alive. They are both in the same place now.
Pete is alive. His brother Paul died.
Mike Mentzer was 10th
Yep- proportions are everything. Here is a later pic of Pete vs a much shorter Danny P. Danny looks bigger, even at 5'2', lol
That's Roger Callard in the middle , NOT Casey.
Never said it was. I was comparing grymko to a smaller guy.
They are not hitting the same pose
Makes no difference- I saw Danny and Pete guest pose side by side at a bodybuilding show in Rochester NY years ago. Danny beat him hands down in every pose.
I know this is going to sound weird, but ... Does anyone know why he was nicknamed "The Sugar Bear"? I think it came from Rick Wayne some time back in the 80s (?) but for the life of me i don't know why.Nonetheless, every single time I see a Casey Viator pic, the first thing that pops into my mind is "The Sugar Bear"
Sugar Bear? Anyone?
