Buttigieg appears to be the choice for the establishment wing of the Democrats and is being strongly elevated for this reason. I see his popularity fading once the debates start though. Biden is another that will suffer over the coming months too imo.

A Sanders/Gabbard ticket would be the best option for the Democrats if they really want to win in 2020.

I like Sanders, while I don't agree with him, I like that he is pretty honest about his feelings even though they don't make for happy, feel good sound clips. Example - www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgLYjbg1MJw .

That being said, he isn't going to get it. He's not tied into the right democrats. He's too much of a loose cannon. He's coming off a loss, and "Elect Sanders" energy just isn't there in the country anymore. Speaking of energy, Sanders doesn't have a presidential vibe to him. I think he's good man, but he comes off as old and an odd mix of authoritarian and bookish, school teacherish. It's odd to describe, and it wouldn't be a bad thing in a perfect World, but to be President, you either need swagger or a sternness (ideally a mix of both) about you that Sanders doesn't have.

Trump has it. Biden has the swagger part down, and has been a politician for decades. Also he's tight with Obama, etc.... so he got an automatic in with the black community.

It's interesting, but Jesse Ventura has a really good platform, but he's been out there and "out there" for too long. He also doesn't have Presidential hair.

I'll admit I don't know much about Tulsi and her policies.  I know now she has served our country, and that the couple interviews I've seen of her she seems confident, intelligent, composed, and firm in her beliefs.  I do not think her being vp for a crazy commie cuckhold is even a consideration for her.  That ticket would probably shock me more than any other real possibility.

Agree with your points but still 70% of Americans say they support capitalism over socialism so I say let's squash socialism hard now.  The Democrat candidate has it easy because they are Santa Claus and just promise free stuff for all and this appeals to the young.  Once those young people are working and paying taxes they don't look so favorably on paying for deadbeats and their free stuff.

I agree with you.

However, a lot of adults, many already over thirty, work a fulltime job, are middle middle-class at best, still vote Democrat 100% of the time.

I don't get it. ??? >:(

Also, I always flip when I see an older person (say over 50) is chanting far left liberal nonsense.

How the fuck is that even possible? ??? :(

If you’re under 25 and not a liberal, you have no heart.

If you’re over 30 and liberal, you have no brain.

I think that’s how the saying goes.

A Sanders/Gabbard ticket is very unlikely but would be the strongest ticket the Democrats could bring imo since it brings the populism and energy which the other candidates lack.

Sanders is the passionate socialist/progressive who can argue his points well.
Tulsi's somewhat of a maverick within the Democrat party being one of the few that was always dismissive of the whole Russiagate conspiracy. This alongside her opposition to interventionist wars has unfortunately made her disliked by some within her own party.

Biden is actually one of the weakest options for me. Old with little originality, he offers zero appeal to anyone who isn't the standard neo-liberal. He's also making the same mistakes that Hillary was making by attempting to come across as being "woke". Firstly, by wanting Stacey Abrams as his running mate and then by spending his first campaign ad talking about Charlottesville.

Buttigieg offers little originality too outside of his sexuality (which is a detriment anyway). His policies are pedestrian but like Obama, he is a smart orator who is skilled at telling audiences flowery but generic messages that they’ll like.

I'm not disagreeing with you at all that it would be the best ticket for dems chance of winning.  I'm saying that there's no chance in hell that a strong woman like Tulsi would play second fiddle to an old fart commie who she has little in common with.  I think Bernie is a war monger at heart......he's too angry of a little fucker not to be. >:( (need messed up white hair on top of that emoji)

Public displays of affection are a no-no.

I don't want to see Butt-i-frack kissing his Butt-i-buddy nor do I want to see Biden kissing little girls or anybody kissing anybody.

Amateur hour: Pete Buttigieg's inexperience exposed as supply chain breaks down

Three years ago, the only people who’d ever heard of Pete Buttigieg were likely to be residents of South Bend, Ind., the town of 103,000 people where he served as mayor.

South Bend is home to Notre Dame University. It has a bus station with a fleet of 60 buses, a small train station and a small regional airport. So, who better for Team Biden to nominate as secretary of the Department of Transportation, which employs more than 58,000 employees – more than half the population of South Bend – and has a budget of $87 billion?

This is what happens when you appoint people based on everything but qualifications.

Harris got nominated due to gender, race.

Mayor got nominated because he agreed to fold his campaign before Super Tuesday, so Biden could surpass Bernie.

Both apparently struggling mightlily.
