Something like 61% don't pay taxes, and they have nearly the same standard of living as those who do.

Govt has decided to print money and pay themselves rather than rely on the weak consumer to leech from.

It will get worse before it gets better.  Once the Democrats start taxing unrealized capital gains everyone will look for other places to put money besides the stock market.

No. There is no escape. Everything and anything will be taxed.

Meanwhile your fuel price will double and triple. Then we blow up. Prices drop. Stimmy comes flooding back in and we do it all again.

This is how they reset. The last one took a decade. We are 1 year in and people already going apeshit despite nothing much really happening.

Americans complaining about genders is a reasonable societal indicator. If they are still complaining, life is too easy = more pain yet to come.

I take offense. Comparing Shizzo to Mayday is like comparing Bhank to quad stomp Cutler.

When I am forced by govt to need to the money I send them, I no longer will send it - either by not working for taxable gains or other means. Incrementally or all at once that decision is mine.

How about an anti-spending movement?

That already happened - not intentionally but by tapped out consumers even at 0% financing, which is one of the causes for free money being sent out. A perversion of demand side economics to kick the can as long as they can. At this point the worse things get the more money they will throw at it. When you start hearing politicians talk about limiting spending and stopping stimulus you know things are going to get rough.

People are outright demanding that the government take their money and rights away.  The left controls pop culture and has turned being obedient to the government into something heroic.

Americans have been conned and they are too dumb to realize it.  As long as someone pats them on the head and says "good dog" they think they're saving the world.

If you disagree with them you are a piece of shit that should be shunned from society or killed.

lol

I'm a realist however i sometimes word posts for effect. That one i was thinking of Event Horizon when the dude is pure evil at the end and says 'no....there is no escape.... you are all coming with me....'

I work in high position operations and it's an utter bloodbath. My models and strategies are all pointing to lower volume and jacking prices. Issa ok though because i'll make the company oodles of profit.

But as a pleb on pleb island, i can only suggest people need to adapt sooner rather than later to lower consumption. Buy things you 'want' but buy the more expensive versions because in 2yrs you won't be able to afford those anymore. In other words, buy less but buy WAY more expensive than you usually would. This will age well.
