He was working.  He just didn't have any public appearance and his office (and the state) was represented at the climate summit.

Agreed. The New York Times is a well know Trump supporter. They created this “story”.

After getting the booster shot Newsome  did not attend the climate summit because he was trick or treating with his kids. He needed the family time but he was also working in the office. He told us.
