Shredded and dry. Definitely don’t see those proportions today. Back then we would comment Nasser had a wide thick waist, today looking back he’d be the tightest waist on stage.

Now we have narrow bubblemen and “mutant” competitors with the aesthetics of a dishwasher.

What's really amazing is  you look at Levrone and Taylor and you see two supreme physiques that was built with opposite training methods.  Kevin went heavy and hard, Vince went for more reps and lots more sets with volume training.  Yet on stage, the muscle development was about the same.

Genetics, drugs and consistency of peace. Just stimulate that muscle and the gains will come

Look at the hamstrings and lower back.

Levrone looks powerful. Taylor looks a bit underdeveloped, and not as powerful.
