I swear I think this thing keeps me from going stiff like a corpse. Its a love/hate relationship and on some parts its pretty painful, but benefits are so good. Anyone use one that has the rubber studs on it, like a tractor tire? Considering getting one

To be honest I always wanted to try one but never did....I`ve only heard good  things about them though.

Seriously, I do have a foam roller but don't use it much.  Probably should.

I have a normal dense / round one at home. At the gym I use one of those studded ones on lower-back...
I like 'em... Especially on problem lower-back....

Some folks say not to use it on back for some reason (not sure why) I know it helps me loosen shit up, so I use it.

Used to use one when i tried olympic weightlifting for a while. The softer one, the stiffer broke me worse.
