There's this guy on IG who says not to go by sensation in the muscle necessarily and what you feel is not always what you think you're feeling. For example the abductor machine is not a glute exercise, the glute is not what you think you're feeling and what gets pumped. Sumo stance is not more glutes than narrow stance, like in deadlifts. And so on.
And he has a somehow different definition of mind-muscle connection.

I think he's probably right and just because you feel the muscle "peak contracting" doesn't necessarily mean it's the best exercise for the job.

I agree for sure.

While its not a 'top of the line' piece of equipment, the bench I bought pre-RONA works pretty well. (Pretty solid).
I was trying to save space as I only have 1-garage stall dedicated to my home gym.

So with this bench, it will incline, decline, and the leg-curl/leg-ext piece comes off, and I also have the preacher attachment for it.
(Which is pretty large/solid).

Decent enough for 150.00 for all of it... (Bench, preacher, leg attachment).
Once RONA  hit they were selling them for like 800.00.

I got this same thing recently with the "Leg Developer" (nh) attachment, for the price it's pretty good.  My usual issue with these attachments is the ROM sucks but on this one it's very good.  My only issue is the bar the weight goes on is much narrower than the standard weight plate hole size so the weights bang around a bit.
