i guess the key is a ton of carbs to keep insulin high but of course b4 bed taper it down

Personally i think the best carb is fruit juice provided youre very active on feet 5 hrs a day at least. If your sedentary all bets are off on high carb
Pre diabetic most likely due to prolonged gh use. Fruits/fruit juice the absolute worst carbs for performance, majority of it goes to liver glycogen, which is why you'll never see elite athletes using fruits as a primary carb source, it's always glucose based carbs, potatoes, pasta, oats, rice. Look at any top athlete, example Michael Phelps, he used to eat 2-3 pounds of pasta amongst various other carbs training for the Olympics.
