Not an eloquent young man. He keeps repeating "take accountability" when what he seems to mean is he'd like to see more vocal condemnation.
I get the impression blacks think whites are fine with Chauvin's actions. I think the kid is trying to say it would be good if blacks could see it isn't so. I note, however, that he's inclining toward class thinking and seems unable to formulate a reply to the speaker's point that an individual is not responsible for someone else's actions.
The speaker made no effort to discern if the young man was truly taking the position that the speaker is personally responsible for the actions of the hypothetical racist policeman (unlikely), or if he intended to say that members of a class bear a responsibility to condemn misdeeds by other members of that class (also wrongheaded, but likely his point).
