One of my favorite lifters and Rasslers, and Strongman competitors.
Hilarious guy...

Spent around 4 hours w/ he and Wilhelm after the AOBS pounding drinks.
Total legend...

Wish they still had the AOBS. The MC trains at my gym.  He said they raised the price of the venue so much they can't put it on anymore. I wonder if it has anything to do with him posing in the hotel lobby? That couldn't be good for business of the place.

Steve is a character... He was one of the more "normal" ones believe it or not. Lots of the steel bender guys are a bit out there.
(Stanless Steel, etc).

It wasnt only the venue, people lost interest over the years as Artie moved it more toward Olympic lifting, and away from BB.
They even inducted Holyfield one year. (Dudes a dope).

PLus, they could have moved venues and moved it back to Secaucus NJ

No one knew the O-Lifters being inducted, and attendance dropped each year... But yeah, The Mighty One (Stefan) posing all over the place.
Crazy...

Plus, the steel-benders did the same SAT show each year, it got boring and predictable...

Are you a Jersey guy?  Steve use to pull the same stuff in gym. Shirt off and posing in the gym.  A guy even told me, "There's an old man in the bathroom that wanted me to check out his thighs and pulled his pants down to show me his thighs."  Ever hear him sing?  One day he was singing at top of his lungs in the gym, "He's a mean one, Mr, Grinch." Sounded amazing in his baritone voice. He trains at a bunch of gyms.

No, New England. Me, my wife and Mastorakis would make the trip down each year (only 4 hrs away)...
Yeah, Steven's pretty crazy...
