"An Algerian migrant could not accept that his Swedish girlfriend broke up. He got a ladder, climbed into the apartment where she lived and attacked armed with a stone and a knife. Now the man is sentenced to prison and deportation - but it is not the first time he is deported to his home country.It was on May 25 this year that 26-year-old Mohammed Amana, a citizen of Algeria, attacked a Swedish woman in Orrefors in Nybro municipality. The woman who had broken up with Mohammed was temporarily living with a male friend.
Mohammed Amana appeared several times at the residence to try to talk to the woman but he was not welcome inside. Then he fetched a ladder and climbed onto the balcony and then smashed a window pane with a stone.
Mohammed Amana then entered the apartment and stabbed the woman's male friend who tried to stop him while the woman took cover inside the toilet.
The woman's male friend filmed the sequence of events from the balcony and the attack inside the apartment. The video clip shows Mohammed standing outside the toilet with the knife pointed at the door saying, "Wallah (I swear by Allah ed. note) I will kill you, I swear by my mother".
Furthermore, Mohammed Amana stated that he would "open up" the woman who was hiding in the toilet and also rape her mother.
The Algerian migrant first applied for asylum in Sweden during the migrant chaos in 2015. Since immigrating from Algeria, the migrant has engaged in committing crimes in the country.
Mohammed appears in 16 episodes in the charge register. He has previously been convicted of, among other things, aggravated assault, violence against an official, aggravated unlawful threats, aggravated theft, damage, attempted aggravated assault and drug offences.
