I'll continue to try and have a friendly conversation. I don't have X or Social Media. I don't have cable where I have access to the mainstream news. I get the little news I do get from AP news, BBC news, and Coaches links.

I enjoyed 2.5 years of being Trumpless. Now with the upcoming election he is everywhere. And you must be high if you really think every other post I post is about Trump. I'[m on the political board so if he was in my head absolutely a majority would be about him. They are not. I would love nothing more than for Trump to again disappear.   Doesn't seem likely for at least 18 months. Maybe longer if he again loses and draws it out 3 years... as far as just ignoring him.. if he was just a moronic braggart narcistic businessman, I would gladly avoid anything to do with him. I think you didn't understand my post. There is no need to justify current events... Peaceful protests are fine. No need to let blacks go because of what their fathers and grandfathers endured. However, treating them the same as any other person shouldn't be that hard to do. But apparently some find that too hard and we have statistics and video to show it. If you would write a black person for the moving violation, you should write a white person for the moving violation. If you would use X use of force on a black person it should equal the same use of force you would use on a white person. That in a nutshell is the base of BLM

I'm wondering if you know that is the definition of descrimination. We part ways on that notion. Whether a group of people do something is irrelevant to how their interaction with the government should go. Each person should be treated as a person. If a black gang banger resists arrest, or a privelgeged white kid resists arrest, the force used should be the minimum force necessary to affect an arrest. Where cops have historically shot themselves in the foot (Rampart) is by buying into the notion it is up to them to met out the punishment deserved.

As far as your question, personally, I see a difference in them. Both are illegal and break laws. One was an attempted overthrow of a legitimate election.
