Yeah. IMO Viator should've won in 82. Zane was a little too big in the waist and a little smooth for Zane. Dickersons injuries really caught up to him by 82 his torn pec was droopy, i think both his biceps were torn. At least they looked torn.  Viator peaked that year. Alot of people think he looked better as a teen.  I don't think so.

Yeah, it's is uniquely odd that Dickersons Olympia win gets a pass. The crybabies like MM, Coe and others all sat out 81 in protest of 80. To this day 81 is criticized for Franco winning  But no one ever complained about Dickersons gift 2nd places or his gift Olympia victory. The judges loved that guy. He won a ton of shows in all the organizations.

I saw a hilarious comment by Arnold about how money prizes were ruining the sport. People used to compete out of ego, just to be considered the best. But money prizes turned it too serious. He talked about guys training all year and waiting to earn the prize money from a show, depending on the money then complaining when they don't win. He said "why don't they get a job?" They should go to colleges or work a real job. I was working construction,  going to college, selling real estate.".... It was pretty funny

  When Arnold retired in 75 he  went off roids. He was downsizing as well before 75 because he was done until Pumping iron came around. Then after Pumping iron he did mostly running ( ran a few celebrity runs etc) focused on business. He wanted to be the best actor. He was to big for the roles he thought he needed. So he slimmed down. Did a few things but nothing much . Then he got conan. Actually he had conan for a few years but it was taking forever to get everything ready. Then last minute they wanted him big again So he got big but NOT Arnold big. Then he competed and beat everyone. He got a check for 25000 dollars that year. Before then it was 1000 dollars!  And yes he beats Methead Mike and everyone else too.

Yeah, Arnold used bodybuilding as a stepping stone where others had nothing else going on besides bodybuilding.
